Sherrod Brown has been a tireless champion for Ohio throughout his career, serving as Ohio’s Secretary of State, as the U.S. Representative from OH-13, and finally as a U.S. Senator for three consecutive terms. Sherrod has been a steadfast advocate for effective U.S. trade policy, including leading efforts to strengthen American manufacturing and clean energy production and to ensure responsible and strategic competition with China. Sherrod has also been a champion for foreign aid, development assistance, and universal human rights throughout his career and has long been a powerful voice for diplomacy-first foreign policy.
