Rep. Gabe Amo (RI-01)

Gabe Amo is a lifelong public servant. Prior to his election to Congress in 2023, Gabe served as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and as the Director of Public Engagement and Community Affairs for former Governor Gina Raimondo. In the 118th Congress, Gabe serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. He is also a member of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, and the Congressional Caucus on Armenia, among others. His top priorities include maintaining U.S. support for and engagement with our partners and allies, upholding international law and human rights standards, and ensuring resilience to climate change.  


Rep. Jake Auchincloss (MA-04)

Jake Auchincloss was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020. Prior to entering Congress, Jake served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he commanded an infantry unit in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, and a reconnaissance unit in Panama. He remains a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves today. Jake continued his career in public service as a member of the Newton City Council, a position he held for five years. In the 118th Congress, Jake serves on the Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party and on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.   


Rep. Don Beyer (VA-08)

Don Beyer is a fifth-term Member of Congress representing northern Virginia. His extensive career in public service includes two terms as Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor from 1990 to 1998 and an ambassadorial posting to Switzerland and Liechtenstein from 2009 to 2013. In the 118th Congress, Don serves as the Senior House Democrat on the Joint Economic Committee and as a member of the Ways and Means Committee. He is also a co-founder of the Congressional Arms Control Working Group and a co-founder of the Egyptian Human Rights Caucus. Throughout his career, Don has been a vocal supporter of U.S. diplomacy, a champion for human rights, and a leader on free-trade and sustainable climate solutions.


Gil Cisneros (CA-31)

Gil Cisneros is a former U.S. Navy Officer, Under Secretary of Defense, and Member of Congress. Gil served as a California Representative from 2019 to 2021, before serving as Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness under President Biden. In Congress and in the Department of Defense, Gil was a champion for diversity and mental health in the military and worked tirelessly to support veterans transitioning to civilian life. His unique perspective serving across levels in our armed forces has made him a powerful voice for diplomacy. Throughout his career, Gil has also been a champion for fair, inclusive, and comprehensive immigration reform.


Rep. Gerry Connolly (VA-11)

Gerry Connolly was first elected to Congress in 2008, returning to the Hill after previously serving as a senior staff member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee earlier in his career. In the 118th Congress, Gerry serves as a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and as a senior member of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. He also serves as the President of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly (having previously served from 2020-2022) and is co-chair of several caucuses for U.S. bilateral relations. Throughout his Congressional service, Gerry has been a leading voice on foreign assistance, democracy promotion, and the role of diplomacy and development to address security challenges and complement U.S. military operations. 


Dr. Herb Conaway (NJ-03)

Dr. Herb Conaway is a physician, U.S. Air Force veteran, and 25-year member of the New Jersey State Assembly where he serves as Chairman of the Health Committee and as a member of the Budget and Military and Veterans Affairs Committees. Previously, Dr. Conaway served as an Air Force Medical Corps Captain at McGuire Air Force Base. Dr. Conaway’s support for a diplomacy-first foreign policy reflects his personal experience and recognition that a failure to lead with diplomacy places a heavy burden on the military service members and service families who live in his district. In Congress, Dr. Conaway will lead efforts to strengthen our international partnerships to promote democracy, economic competition, and environmental conservation. 


Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06)

Jason Crow is a third-term Congressman and U.S. Army Veteran who completed combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic service. Following his time in the military, Jason joined the Colorado Board of Veterans' Affairs and worked as an attorney with a large pro-bono practice helping service members transition to civilian life. In the 118th Congress, Jason serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He is a powerful advocate for diplomacy and has worked tirelessly to protect marginalized and vulnerable communities worldwide. Jason’s top priorities include securing aid for Ukraine, assessing the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and repealing outstanding AUMFs.  


Rep. Veronica Escobar (TX-16)

Veronica Escobar was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, when she became the first woman to represent El Paso and the first of two Latinas from Texas to serve in Congress. Prior to her time in Congress, Veronica served as a County Commissioner and as a County Judge for El Paso County. In the 118th Congress, Veronica serves on the House Judiciary Committee, the House Armed Services Committee, and the House Ethics Committee. Throughout her three terms, Veronica has shown a clear commitment to improving diversity and inclusion in the military, strengthening border security while expanding pathways to citizenship, and increasing oversight of the defense budget.  


Rep. Bill Foster (IL-11)

Bill Foster has served as the Representative for Illinois’ 11th Congressional District since 2012. Prior to serving in Congress, Bill was a high-energy physicist and particle accelerator designer at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), a Department of Energy National Laboratory in northern Illinois. Bill is the only PhD physicist in Congress and a Co-Chair of the Advanced Nuclear Caucus and the Congressional Nuclear Security Working Group. In the 118th Congress, Bill serves on the Committee on Financial Services. He is a dedicated champion for nuclear nonproliferation and reducing nuclear stockpiles, a thoughtful leader on managing the U.S.-China relationship, and a prominent supporter of domestic clean energy reform.


Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06)

Chrissy Houlahan was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, becoming the first woman to represent PA-06. Chrissy is a U.S. Air Force veteran, with three years active-duty service and 13 years in the Air Force Reserves. After her time on active duty, Chrissy worked as the Chief Operations Officer of an apparel company and of B-Lab, a Philadelphia-based, non-profit start-up. She also worked as a public-school science teacher in Philadelphia. In the 118th Congress, Chrissy is a member of the Armed Services Committee, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and serves as co-chair of the bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus. Chrissy is a tireless champion for strengthening the U.S.’ cybersecurity infrastructure, empowering women and girls around the globe, and increasing transparency and accountability in our foreign aid and investments.


Sen. Tim Kaine (VA)

Tim Kaine has been a dedicated public servant for Virginia for more than two decades. In 1994, he was elected to the Richmond City Council and later served as the Mayor of Richmond from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2002 and held the position until he was elected Governor of Virginia in 2006. Finally, in 2012, he was elected to the U.S. Senate where he has served two terms. In the 118th Congress, Tim serves on the Foreign Relations Committee, the Armed Services Committee, the Budget Committee, and the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. He has been a steadfast champion for strengthening America's international partnerships and bolstering our national security through a combination of diplomatic, economic, and military tools.


Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08)

Raja Krishnamoorthi is a fourth-term Congressman serving as Ranking Member of the Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, making him the first South Asian American in history to lead a committee. He also serves on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on Oversight and Accountability. Prior to entering Congress, Raja served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in Illinois’ Public Integrity Unit and later as Illinois Deputy Treasurer. In Congress, Raja is committed to strengthening the U.S. diplomatic corps, avoiding escalatory and provocative rhetoric that prevents cooperation between the U.S. and China, and protecting key trade and supply chains to strengthen U.S. national security.


Rep. Brittany Pettersen (CO-07)

Brittany Pettersen was elected to Congress in 2022, after serving in both the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado State Senate. In the 118th Congress, she serves on the House Financial Services Committee, where she is the Vice Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions. Brittany has been a vocal champion for continued U.S. security assistance to Ukraine and a key supporter of efforts to address climate change and make a rapid transition to renewable sources that can ensure America’s energy independence and strengthen our national security.    


Rep. Seth Moulton (MA-06)

Seth Moulton is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served four tours as an infantry officer in Iraq. He was first elected to Congress in 2014. In the 118th Congress, Seth serves on the Armed Services Committee and the Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the U.S. and Chinese Communist Party. Since his first term in Congress, Seth has been a steadfast advocate for Congressional oversight of the defense budget, prioritizing spending decisions driven by strategy, innovation, and effective deterrence. Seth is a critical voice for U.S. global leadership guided by a unified diplomatic, economic, and military strategy that supports our allies and keeps U.S. servicemembers safe. 


Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11)

Mikie Sherrill was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, becoming the first woman to represent NJ-11. Prior to her time in Congress, Mikie served almost 10 years as a Sea King helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy flying missions in Europe and the Middle East. After leaving the Navy, Mikie joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey where she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. In the 118th Congress, Mikie serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. She is a powerful voice for lowering the carbon footprint of the military, strengthening our diplomatic engagement with our partners and competitors, and protecting U.S. supply chains, critical mineral supplies, and semiconductor manufacturing. 


Rep. Adam Smith (WA-09)

Adam Smith is the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee and Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus for Effective Foreign Assistance. As Ranking Member, Adam is a powerful voice for the strong, principled, diplomacy-first approach to foreign policy that enhances our national security and reduces the burden on our service members. Adam is also a strong advocate for investments in global public health programs, the clean energy transition, refugee resettlement efforts, and democratic and economic development assistance. Before his election to Congress, Adam served in the Washington State Senate, becoming the youngest Senator in the country when he took office in 1991.


Rep. Marilyn Strickland (WA-10)

Marilyn Strickland was first elected to the U.S. Congress in 2020, becoming the first African American to represent Washington State at the federal level and the first Korean American woman to be elected to Congress. Previously, Marilyn served on the Tacoma City Council, the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce, and as Mayor of Tacoma. As a representative from the most trade-dependent state in the nation, her top priorities include implementing smart trade policies, strengthening our national relationship with Asian countries, and developing a practical and achievable legislative response to the humanitarian crisis at the southern border. In the 118th Congress, Marilyn serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. She is the Chair of the New Democrat Coalition's National Security Task Force and serves as a Whip for the Congressional Black Caucus. 


Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14)

Lauren Underwood was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, becoming the first woman, person of color, and millennial to represent IL-14. Prior to her election, Lauren was appointed by President Obama to serve as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In the 118th Congress, Lauren sits on the House Appropriations Committee and serves on the Homeland Security Subcommittee and the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee. She is a dedicated advocate for prioritizing global public health, enacting meaningful immigration reform, and protecting our democracy.
