Leading Representative endorsed by nonpartisan Foreign Policy for America
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 27, 2021
WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Representative Susan Wild for re-election. As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, Energy and the Environment, Representative Wild is running to represent Pennsylvania’s seventh district for a third term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Susan Wild is a no-nonsense problem solver – the kind we need more of in Congress,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “You can see in her work –from working to end this global pandemic to fighting to end violence against women – that she carries in her heart the values of her constituents. And she gets results. We’re proud to support her for re-election.”
Rep. Wild began her career as an attorney and started her own legal practice, before becoming the first female Allentown City Solicitor. In 2018, she became the first woman to represent Pennsylvania’s 7th district in Congress. Rep. Wild has a 100% lifetime rating on FP4A’s scorecard. As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, she’s used her voice to advocate for human rights efforts around the world and for a renewal of American diplomacy and global leadership.
Wild joins other FP4A endorsed candidates: Rep. Colin Allred (TX-32), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-03), Rep. Tom Malinowski (NJ-07), and Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07). Our endorsed candidates are chosen because of their consistent leadership in favor of diplomacy- first foreign policy.
Foreign Policy for America is a nonpartisan advocacy organization working to strengthen support for principled American engagement in the world. We support policies that keep Americans safe and out of conflicts, advance prosperity for all, and are true to our country’s highest values.
