FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - September 5, 2024
WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Rep. Dina Titus for re-election to Congress as the Representative from Nevada’s First Congressional District.
“Dina Titus is a powerhouse in Congress – a principled leader who others look to for guidance. She knows that America is more secure – and Nevadans are more prosperous – when we work with our international partners to open new markets for American businesses, invest in clean energy innovation and secure supply chains, and protect democracy and human rights across the globe,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “Dina holds a 100% lifetime score on Foreign Policy for America’s legislative scorecard—an achievement that reflects her deep commitment to strong, principled U.S. leadership in the world. That’s why we’re proud to endorse her for re-election. We look forward to her continued leadership in Congress!”
Rep. Dina Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st Congressional District since 2013, a continuation of her service to Nevada that began with several terms in the State Senate (including as Minority Leader from 1993-2009) and one term as representative of NV-03 from 2009-2011. Previously, Rep. Titus also served as a professor of government at the University of Nevada. In the 118th Congress, Rep. Titus serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the House Homeland Security Committee, and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and is the Ranking Member of the House Democracy Partnership. As the Representative of Las Vegas – a truly international city – Rep. Titus knows that Americans do better when we lead with diplomacy, creating new opportunities for US businesses abroad and strengthening our national security by investing in global partnerships. Rep.
