FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 28th, 2022

WASHINGTON D.C. — Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Representative Dan Kildee for re-election. As Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, Rep. Kildee is running to represent Michigan’s newly drawn Eighth Congressional District, which includes his hometown of Flint.

“Representative Kildee’s steadfast support for our service members and veterans is commendable,” said Ambassador Robert Gelbard, Chair of Foreign Policy for America’s Political Committee. “His decade of experience serving Michiganders along with his voice for democracy and human rights abroad continues to be needed in Congress.”

Rep. Kildee was first elected to represent Michigan’s Fifth Congressional District in Congress in 2012. Before serving in Congress, Rep. Kildee created the Genessee County Land Bank that helped redevelop thousands of homes and buildings in Flint.
